To ensure players had the chance to take part in competitive matches Haverhill and Weston played out 2 more friendlies at U11 level. Haverhill were the victors in both games winning by 69 & 42 runs but cricket was the winner with over 20 players taking part.
It is to hoped that there will be enough interest in 2020 for the Borders League to run once again. A minimum of 4 teams will do, but 5 or 6 would be perfect. Results do not matter, these games are all about participation and involvement in a game that is under pressure at grass roots level.
