Living Sport Awards 2017

Living Sport is a local charity dedicated to improving the health and well being of the people of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough through participation in sport and physical activity.  It is part of the County Sports Partnerships Network, one of 44 County Sports Partnerships (CSP’s) across England, formed in 2006 to raise the profile, and engagement, of sport with local strategic partnerships, and to increase community participation in sport. County Sports Partnerships are supported by Sport England with substantial funds from the Sport Lottery.

The annual Living Sport Awards recognise sporting performance in a number of categories with nominations received from the local community.

This year Weston Colville CC have nominated Tom Westley for the Sports Performer of the Year award in recognition of his selection for England at Test level.  We are delighted to report that he has made the shortlist of three for this award and we hope that he will be selected as the winner at the awards ceremony on November 23rd at the Burgess Hall in St.Ives.
